I got some friends that use this so I figured this would be a good way to broadcast a message.
Paintball Scenario games are going to take place in the next few months. Anthony and I are organizing a whole mess of stuff. Contact me: eddie.sherman@gmail.com if you are interested.

Well it has been a very long time since I updated so I figured I would give a little info out for y'all. I am almost a married man and I'm very excited about that. I am no longer in a band or play music. ROTM "silently" called it quits for the very last time. I am transferring to Alice Lloyd College in the Fall to finish up my Mathematics Teaching Degree. I have been doing a lot of work to my house and picked up some old hobbies to occupy myself since I don't jam anymore or care about the whole scene deal. I have been modding my Xbox. I put my hacked samsung PC drive into the case and installed a Blue HDD Led. I am also running linux on my PC and it rocks. Looking forward to the rest of my life. Don't expect to see me posting a lot. I probably wouldn't have even posted this if I wasn't fooling with mozilla on fedora to see how deepest sender works...and it works good! Ok. Peace Ed

The show went pretty good on Saturday night. It was my first time on guitar and I was really nervous. It was awesome to see all of my TN friends as well as a lot of my appalcore friends I dont see a lot. I am on the Weight Watchers deal and it is pretty tough cuttin out some food each day. I am actually doing pretty decent on it but I don't know if I have lost any weight because I don't own any scales. I have a quizz in calculus tomorrow and I am struggling. I am having most of my problems with the algebra side of things. Hopefully I can pick up a book that can help. I have been working on homework about every night and its kickin my tail. I may be assisting some kindergarten class at Model Lab in Richmond on Fridays. I don't know yet because I also sent mail to PCCHS and I might be able to help out with some after school program there. Paula and I are gettin excited about the wedding and it seems that most everyone in our family is too. I can't wait because that is going to be a fun day. Well I got to go to friggin work now. Hope you kids have a good one.

It's about time I updated. A few good things have come up. Paula told her mom about the wedding and she is the most into it. They have checked out the church and done all the necessary steps. I am skipping class tomorrow but I know what my homework assignment is. Paula, Jon and I went to applebees tonight. I love my life right now :)

My first week of school is officially over. It was kinda rough. Calculus is definitely going to be hard, but I think I can handle it. We have a quizz on Tuesday. I miss Paula but she went shoppin with her mom so I won't be hanging with her till later.

Calculus. I am pretty lost when it comes to this stuff so I think when I get my paycheck I am going to order some sort of book from Amazon to help out. I gotta get rollin on this stuff cause I need to be done by morning and I have to be in class at 8AM. I think Jon is riding up with me tomorrow so that will make the trip a little easier.
Paula took her English final today and I think she did ok. We listened to the Monsters of Midday all day long and became obsessed with the adventures of Whopper JR. http://www.trackwhopperjr.com/

What a day. I woke around 5. Left here around 5:45...listened to Bubba the Love Sponge and XMLM all the way to Richmond. got there around 7:30. Went to class. Milled around till 3:30 and class again...then at 6 went to another class. Drove back and here I am. Pretty tired. Paula and I are tossing the idea of moving to London around. I am into it. PEACE.

I am gettin ready for work again. I have school tomorrow and eventhough it is a school day I am excited to have a day away from Radio Shack. I've worked like 6 days in a row and I can't friggin stand that place right now. So tomorrow I have to be in Richmond at 8am, I've thought about drivin up there tonight and crashing out with JR or my cousin but I'm not sure. I think I will just get up at 5 and drive. XM radio has some decent talk radio to listen to.

I went to that show last night. It seemed like they had a really nice crowd and that everyone was vibing off of the music and stuff. I had to leave because I was starving, and I didn't want to ruin the night for everyone by doing something else. We met up with my mom at Ponderosa and chowed down. I'm going to work today. Such is my life. hahahah

Nothing really interesting today. That show is tonight but I don't know if I will go to it. I dont get off of work till 8 and it will probably be closing up pretty soon after. My car is still acting retarded, I put some fuel system cleaner in the thing and it seems to be acting differently. I haven't decided if it is better or not.
PEACE Eddie

So today I drove to Richmond and picked up my books. I dropped nearly 300 bones in there on 3 books. Math is expensive. I start class next Tuesday and I am pretty excited, but I do have a LOT of driving to do and my car is freaking out already. Today it kept missing and I am just tore up about it. I can't afford a new car because I don't know if I can keep working the weekends.
My life has taken such a turn for the better this past month or so. I have such a firm grasp on my future now that I am not scared anymore about school and stuff. Things just keep getting better and I hope that trend doesn't change. I thank God for that.
BTW Paula passed her exam and won't have to retake her class.
I just fixed hamburger helper and chowed down. Everyone in the house seemed to be into it. I like cooking :) especially for appreciative mouths.
In other news: Jeremy just let out the most brutal growl ever on this mp3 I am jamming...I can't wait to jam with this joker.

I got to drive to Richmond tomorrow and get my books for classes. Then I have to work at 4 here in Hazard. This is already starting to look as if it isn't going to work out (working here). This whole school thing is looking pretty good now. Keep Paula in your prayers she still hasn't heard about her grade yet.

you are one of these metalcore friggers. every band you listen to sounds exactly the same. they all are just breakdowns and pinch harmonics. get some variety. you like to go in the pit to hurt people. that's real cool. go jump off a bridge.
what kind of Ahole scene kid are you? brought to you by Quizilla

| A day of good news! |
[07 Jan 2004|10:06pm] |
Well I'm stoked because I made a lot better score on my ACT than I had anticipated. I felt really wierd because it had been 7 years since I took the thing but I pulled out a 24 and didn't study at all for the stupid thing. I have already registered for the course that required the 21. If things go as planned I should be student teaching this time next year!!! I don't feel bad about any of the decisions I have made so far in my life because my life is going so good. I hope Paula does well on her final she is kind of worried about it but I know she will do fine. She always does! Dad called me and told me that the Hughes and Kettner deal went through, so I should have an awesome guitar amp by next week.
Everyone keep Paula in your thoughts and prayers in hopes that she passes her final. Thanks for praying for me as well, it appears to have paid off!

Dr. Tibbs told Paula that she was doing fine. They even said she can have the brace off in 6 weeks! She can drive but I don't see any reason to do that because making any quick motions while wearing that brace could be hard to do. So I'm stoked about that for sure. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I have not heard back about my test scores yet. Could be the end of the week or early next week :(
